This is my family and my third visit to Rajvilas and I am always short of words for the exceptional treatment we receive there. The staff, always goes the extra mile to ensure you have a comfortable and memorable stay. The property is excellent and one of the best in the country. Always impressed by the level of care and dedication shown by the hotel staff. They go above and beyond to take care of the guests.

Another Fabulous Experience at the heart of Nature

We revisited this property in April this year to celebrate my pre birthday and also to enjoy the property once again,as when we visited the same a month ago,we received exceptional service and also the property being situated at the lap of nature,with lush green gardens and colourful peacocks and spacious villas and tents to relax and rejuvenate,really drawed us back to the property.The gm was kind enough to include 4 pieces of laundry per day in our booking,which really helped us clean all our soiled linen since extensive travel had made them too much dirty,and also offered us a special rate for lunch and dinner that is 2950 including tax for lunch for a couple,and 4720 for dinner for a couple,which considering the high prices of food items at rajvilas was a nice bargain price for us.The MAIN HIGHLIGHT OF THE PROPERTY IN SUMMER,AS WE FOUND IN THE LAST STAY WAS THEIR NEWLY CONSTRUCTED PLUNGE POOL ROOMS.It is a new catrgory as told by the property and only has 4 rooms as such ie premier room with plunge pool.Due to less stock,they remain in high demand in summer.During our last stay,the gm upgraded us 4 levels from our booked premier room to this premier room with plunge pool.We had liked the room so much,that we extended our stay for two more nights to enjoy the room.It was away from the reception and other rooms,so there was no noise from the surrounding area and it was a very good experience.We had also got a nice butler assigned to us last stay,which added more convenience to our stay.At this stay,however there was no butler given and also when I enquired if we could be upgraded to the plunge pool room,they said due to high demand it will be chargeable.As I had one room upgarde voucher with me,we used that for 3 nights and for the rest 3 nights I had to pay full price for the said room.Nonetheless,the room and the overall ambience of the property being a lot value for money,the cost didn't bother us so much and we went ahead to throughly enjoy our stay at the property.Also,unfortunately the room we stayed last time was occupied,and we were assigned another room which had less area of garden and as it was surrounded by other guests rooms with private gardens,noises from all other rooms was heard which made this stay not so peaceful.But the pool was great,as always,with their state of the art 24 hour filtration system which was the main highlight of our stay.We had lunch in the first day at their all day dining restaurant called Surya Mahal.Previously met chef,Manoj was there and he personally took care to ensure we had a great dining experience.The food was delicious and the servers were also nice.The weather in Jaipur however,was very hot at this stay and it was almost impossible to venture outside between 10 to 5 in the afternoon.The property being a resort,even going for lunch at the restaurant via buggy in the day meant we needed to apply full sun screen to escape the sun and also frequently use body lotions and moisturizers as the weather is very dry in Jaipur.Only soothing oasis during the day,was our pristine room and the relaxing pool where we spent the most time during the day.The hk did a terrific job of cleaning the room and overall upkeep of our cluster.Sandip,from hk in particular,serviced our room and was a very nice and helpful person.The in room dining also proved to be very fast and we got every item within 20 minutes of asking it,despite it being a resort.Attention to detail,was eminent in every aspect and each area,every nook and corner of the property looked new and well maintained,despite the property completing 30 years.This shows the good management oberoi group possess who really cares about guest comfort and hotel upkeep.In some of the days,I had ordered food from swiggy and it was conveniently delivered to my room without any hassle.We asked Manoj one day to make homestyle Khichdi for us and forgot about it.The next day,to our surprise he brought that Khichdi to our room for dinner and despite it was a bad weather that day,with thunderstorms and rains,he himself came to the room to deliver it and ensured a hassle free experience.The Khichdi,tasted mind blowing similar to the ones available in our hometown and we cherished it quite a lot.For 2 days,I had breakfast in the property which was included in my package but as we used to woke up late,the property made a special consideration for us and allowed us to have breakfast as late as till 12 30 pm which proved to be more convenient for us and also saved my lunch cost.For the rest of the days,we had lunch in the property in their main restaurant,guided my efficient servers and served by chef Manoj,turning every meal into a signature dining delight.Out of which,one lunch was comped as it was swapped instead of breakfast,and for the others we paid the special rate that was given to us.Also as my birthday was in a few days,the property hosted us for a special dinner at their signature speciality restaurant called Raj Mahal.It is open till March for dinner,but to our luck it was the last day when we came to dine there.Truely, it was a one of a kind culinary experience.With rare dishes of rajasthan and other parts of India,being intricately crafted by their talented chefs and served to our palate.This,coupled with the dreamy lighting,the outdoor setup and the cultural music,made up a serene ambience for us to enjoy dinner.We enjoyed the Jungli Murgh and another signature chicken dish(I forgot the name)it was slow cooked and served.A server called Sandip meet us and ensured we had a nice dining experience.However,as temperatures are soaring to new highs in Jiapur,would recommend fellow traveller's to book it now,if they are coming for the property and the rooms alone (property can be explored early morning and and in evening)they can book now as the rates would be really low and chance of upgrades will also increase.But if one is coming to explore Jaipur,this is quite not the time of the year as you would be terribly disappointed and unable to venture out due to the heat.We used to explore the property during the evening and bring chocolates and cashews from our rooms(whatever the hotel gave us)and feed them to peacocks who used to gather around our room after the 2nd day of us feeding them.It was a joyful experience and a treat to the eyes seeing all those beautiful creatures chasing us and eating directly from our hands.It will remain as a colorful memory to us for a long time.We managed to click some beautiful pictures and videos of those moments.Apart from all the super helpful staff members,the gm himself was also present the property during this stay and he was readily available to cater to any of our requests we had with him.. Overall it was a very joyful experience for us and we hope to come back someday in the future if budget permits.

This hotel exceeds expectations in EVERY respect. One word springs to mind, Genuine! The quality of the fabric within the hotel from restaurants, to bungalow accomodation in the vast manicured grounds, the amazingly attentive staff with REAL smiles, the cleanliness and attention to detail. In truth the only negative from our personal perspective was we only had two nights here! Much longer would have been so much better in order we could fall into the Oberoi world of attentiveness and drift away from the reality of the world outside. A stunning venue in every respect and we are seasoned travellers so have many previous experiences to judge others from. Resturant. Amazing quality of food and menu choice, cannot be bettered catering for all tastes. I have to say on a personal note, like many others, our main reason for our trip to India was the Taj Mahal and Amber Fort, but the very much added bonus to me was up with these venues was the meeting and chats we had with Chef Kushagrah Seth. Wow, blown away! Kush apart from being a lovely genuine man, was a wealth of knowledge of all things cuisine. Genuinely passionate of his vocation and I don't think in my long life I have ever taken in some much interesting information of food blends, calorific values, spices and everything that is of the finest detail required in order a meal is served to a perfectionist standard. Never too old to learn and I now realise 99.% of kitchens employ cooks, only 1 percent are real chefs. Kush for me was the 1 percent! Lovely man, left a lasting impression, not just as a person but of his representation of Oberoi as a hotel. To summarise, everyone at Oberoi Jaipur is of the highest standard, attention to detail is second to none in every aspect. If I picked one item over all others it would be GENUINE! The smiles, the attention, the detail, the passion. I have never witnessed this level before. Nothing fake like others just real warmth!

Our stay has been very enjoyable. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The rooms are perfect. We stayed in a premier tent room and it felt like you have your own private bungalow. Housekeeping staff ensure that you are happy with your accommodation. My wife and I highly recommend staying at the Oberoi Rajvilas if you are travelling to Jaipur.
